A few interesting articles…

From the New York Times:

  • Abused and neglected kids suffer from post traumatic stress disorder, there aren’t enough providers to treat them effectively and there are going to be fewer resources here in the near future.

From the Wall Street Journal:

  • Okay, I promise to stop suggesting that the rich are a monolithic plutocracy. Can you promise to stop suggesting that “the poor” are a homogeneous group of societal leeches?

And speaking of intellectual honesty and the Wall Street Journal:

  • Jonathan Chait and Mother Jones have fun with the Journal editorial that suggests that wealth is distributed much more evenly throughout the population than it actually is.
  • UPDATE (5/17) Flowing Data, one of my favorite blogs, presents the raw data in this controversy and challenges its users to make their own graphs.
